Brenda Kruusimäe

Composer, conductor and music engraver from Estonia.

Portrait of Brenda Kruusimäe

I am an Estonian composer, conductor and music engraver. I study composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where my composition teachers include Tõnu Kõrvits and René Eespere.

I graduated with a silver distinction in choral conducting from Georg Ots Tallinn Music School. I have professional conducting experience and have taught solfège. I have worked professionally as a music engraver since 2025.

My background in composition, conducting and choral music helps me prepare notation that is clear, musically precise and practical for performers. I have worked with ensembles ranging from choirs and kannel ensembles to larger instrumental groups.

Some of my earlier compositions and professional credits appear under the name Brenda Pärtel.
